Yorkshire’s Hidden Gem

A vast green estate with a beautiful lake and tree lined scenery dotted with artistic landmarks and hidden alcoves. Hidden in the South Yorkshire’s landscape hides the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. I have been visiting ever since I was a little boy and I have seen it develop rapidly over the years to the packed landscape it is today.

I remember when I first visited there was no more than 30 sculptures on at anyone point and a little café/visitor centre, now however you will find a large visitor centre with galleries, a shop and restaurant and over 100 sculptures many of which are on permeant display.

Below are the pictures I took on my recent visit with the family in April 2017.
